Corrections & Updates Policy

At Globally Pulse, we are committed to accuracy, transparency, and accountability. We believe that admitting and correcting errors promptly is an essential part of trustworthy journalism. This Corrections & Updates Policy explains how we identify, review, and communicate changes to our published content.

Our Commitment to Accuracy

Every article published by Globally Pulse undergoes multiple layers of editorial review and fact-checking before it appears online. However, because news evolves rapidly, errors or outdated information can occasionally occur. When we discover an inaccuracy — whether reported internally or by a reader — we correct it as quickly as possible.

Types of Corrections

  • Minor Edits: Corrections that do not affect meaning — such as grammar, punctuation, or style improvements — may be made silently without formal notice.
  • Factual Corrections: If an article contains a factual error, we update the text immediately and include a clear correction note at the bottom of the story detailing what was changed and why.
  • Clarifications: When a story may be technically accurate but potentially misleading or lacking context, we add clarifying language or an editor’s note to improve reader understanding.
  • Updates: As stories develop, new verified information is added with a visible “Updated” timestamp and a short explanation of what has changed.

Correction Process

  1. Errors may be identified by editors, reporters, or readers.
  2. All correction requests are reviewed by the relevant section editor and, if necessary, the Managing Editor or Editor-in-Chief.
  3. Once verified, the correction or clarification is made in the body of the article and documented in a correction note at the end.
  4. When an update materially changes the story, the headline and publication date are adjusted accordingly.

Submitting a Correction Request

Readers are encouraged to help us maintain accuracy. If you spot an error, please contact our editorial team by emailing [email protected]. Include:

  • The URL of the article
  • A brief description of the suspected error
  • Any supporting information or sources (if available)

We review all requests carefully and respond promptly where correction or clarification is warranted.

Accountability and Transparency

Each correction or update is made with transparency to preserve reader trust. We never delete or conceal errors. Our editorial team documents every factual correction for internal quality control and periodic review.

Editorial Oversight

Corrections and updates are supervised by the following senior editors:

Archival Updates

Older articles may be updated periodically to reflect new information or to comply with editorial standards. Updates are timestamped and, when significant, are explained in an editor’s note. Historical corrections remain visible for transparency.

Reader Feedback

We value our readers’ input and welcome feedback about any content published on Globally Pulse. If you believe a correction or clarification is needed, please write to [email protected].
