The event, held at Madison Square Garden, featured an over-the-top ceremony witnessed by 1,000 guests, including A-list attendees such as Bradley Cooper, Jessica Alba, George Kittle, and Miranda Lambert.

Gomez, 33, chose a fitted, curve-hugging ensemble covered in crystals with spaghetti straps and fringe detail at the hem. She paired the look with matching champagne-toned pumps and rosy eyeshadow and lipstick. Her hair was styled in a soft bob, curled under to evoke a Great Gatsby feel.

The choice of designer appeared to be a nod to a previous shared moment. According to several reports, Swift wore a gold Oscar de la Renta gown with floral embroidery to Gomez's wedding to music producer Benny Blanco in September 2025. During that event, Swift helped Gomez get ready and was seen in videos filming the bride as she put on her veil. Gomez later shared these moments on Instagram, referring to Swift as gator and noting their friendship of almost 20 years.

The friendship between the two began nearly two decades ago when they met on a double date with brothers Nick and Joe Jonas. While their relationships with the Jonas brothers ended, the bond between the singers has endured. Gomez watched Swift and Kelce, both 36, exchange vows alongside her husband, Benny Blanco. While Gomez opted for Oscar de la Renta, the bride chose a custom Christian Dior Haute Couture gown designed by Jonathan Anderson. A press release stated that the looks for both the bride and groom were created by Christian Dior Haute Couture, marking the first time Anderson designed a couture wedding dress for a world-renowned celebrity. The couple's shoes were custom made by Christian Louboutin, and Swift wore Cartier jewelry.
