Activision has confirmed the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 multiplayer beta dates, which begin on August 21. The company also revealed how players can access the beta, what's included, and when to expect more details.

The early access period runs from August 21 to August 25 on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, and is available for players who preorder Modern Warfare 4. The open beta then opens for everyone, regardless of preorder status, from August 28 to September 1, and also includes the Nintendo Switch 2 as a supported platform.

According to Activision, the beta includes multiple multiplayer maps and modes, a "wide selection" of playable characters, and up to 19 different weapons. The beta also features a new game mode called Kill Block, as well as returning favorites like Search & Destroy and the Training Mobility Course.

Players who preorder the Vault Edition of Modern Warfare 4 can use the operators and weapons included in that version of the game during the beta. These include Price, Valeria, Ghost, and Blix, among others.
