Frankie Muniz and his wife, Paige Price Muniz, are divorcing after a decade together. The actor and professional race-car driver announced the split via social media on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, noting that the decision followed a period of separation that we kept private.

The announcement, shared on Instagram and X, included a statement describing the transition of their relationship. Muniz wrote that after 10 beautiful years, the couple realized their connection feels most natural and strong as a deep friendship and as co-parents.

The couple shares a son, Mauz Mosley Muniz, who is 5 years old. Muniz stated that their son remains the center of our world and that both parents are happier, stronger because of the growth they experienced together.

Social media friction and family defense

The announcement was initially accompanied by a home video of Frankie, Paige, and Mauz dancing to Check Yes, Juliet by We the Kings, which ended with Muniz pretending to play his son like an air guitar. Muniz later deleted the clip and replaced it with a family photo.

Paige Muniz responded to the removal of the video by defending her husband against public criticism in the comments.

"Frankie, I am so sorry that you felt the need to delete an old fun video of our family because people are so cruel to you,"

She added that while divorce is bad, the two adults are on the same team and expressed disbelief that the family's dynamic was being scrutinized.

A decade of shared ventures

The pair first met in February 2016 at the 28th Annual Frank Sinatra Celebrity Invitational Golf Tournament in Palm Desert, California. At the time, Price, a native of Marianna, Pennsylvania, was working as a presenter and interviewer for a golf network, while Muniz attended as a guest.

Their relationship included several joint business and personal milestones:

  • Entrepreneurship: In July 2018, the couple purchased Outrageous Olive Oils & Vinegars, a specialty shop in Scottsdale, Arizona. They sold the business in 2019.
  • Home Building: They built a home from the ground up in north Phoenix, which included a dedicated racing simulator room.
  • Marriage: After an engagement in November 2018, they eloped at Camelback Mountain in Phoenix in October 2019. They held a second, more intimate ceremony with family in February 2020.

Muniz previously described Price as a saint in an exclusive with Us Weekly, admitting it had been very, very, very tough to balance his career and personal life. He noted that he is often on the road 300 days a year for acting and racing, which left Price acting basically a single mother a lot.

Career transitions and future outlook

The split comes as Muniz navigates a return to the spotlight. He recently reprised his role as Malcolm in the series Malcolm in the Middle: Life's Still Unfair, appearing with Paige and Mauz at the New York premiere in April. The family also made brief cameos in the show's finale.

Beyond acting, Muniz has shifted his focus toward professional racing. After taking a hiatus following season-ending injuries, he returned to stock car racing in 2023 via the ARCA Menards Series. He currently competes in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series driving the No. 33 Ford F-150.

Despite the divorce, the couple stated they are excited to keep building Muniz Racing together and remain committed to co-parenting their son. Muniz concluded his statement by asking for privacy and stating that the couple will not entertain any questions on this matter.
