Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are officially married after a private, star-studded celebration at Madison Square Garden in New York City on July 3, 2026. The ceremony, which publicist Tree Paine confirmed, brought together roughly 1,000 guests in a venue transformed into what guests described as a garden inside the Garden.

The wedding followed a multi-day itinerary that began July 2 with a more intimate rehearsal dinner for approximately 100 close friends and family. That initial soirée featured a pink carpet and guests receiving black velvet boxes containing diamond-adorned champagne flutes. According to CBS News, the broader wedding festivities continued through the early hours of Saturday, July 4, with the venue booked until 4 a.m.

Despite the scale of the event, the couple maintained a privacy sign on the door. Security measures included the closure of streets around the arena and the installation of tents and canopies to block public views of arriving guests. Inside, a strict no-phone policy was enforced for all guests, vendors, and security personnel. Furthermore, guests reportedly received digital invitations with watermarks and were required to sign nondisclosure agreements before receiving event details.

The ceremony was officiated by comedian and actor Adam Sandler, a friend of the couple who previously worked with Kelce on Happy Gilmore 2. While the couple did not have traditional bridesmaids or groomsmen, Swift's brother, Austin Swift, served as her man of honor, and Jason Kelce served as the best man for Travis.

The newlyweds wore custom outfits from Christian Dior Haute Couture, designed by Jonathan Anderson. Paine noted that the gown was Anderson's first couture wedding dress created for a globally recognized celebrity. The couple's footwear was custom-designed by Christian Louboutin, and Swift wore Cartier jewellery.

The interior of the arena was designed to emulate a whimsical garden party, featuring lush green scenery, flamingo pink couches, and pink curtains. In a nod to the celebration, the Empire State Building shone in light blue on Friday night.

The guest list featured a blend of NFL stars and A-list celebrities. Attendees included Selena Gomez, Lena Dunham, producer Jack Antonoff, Hugh Grant, and Steven Spielberg. From the NFL, George Kittle and Robert Tonyan Jr. Attended in custom suits by Mitch Purgason, alongside Chiefs teammates such as Kareem Hunt, Mecole Hardman, and Trent McDuffie. The New York Knicks' starting lineup, including Jalen Brunson, was also on the invite list.

Musical performances were a highlight of the event. Stevie Nicks performed, and reports indicate that Paul McCartney also played. The New York Times reported that Swift and Nicks conducted a sound check on Friday, and some reports suggest Swift performed at her own wedding alongside Nicks and McCartney.

While official photos remain elusive, guests shared a few details. Director Joseph Kahn, who has worked with Swift on music videos for Blank Space and Bad Blood, posted a photo of himself and his wife Lotte, noting that the event felt like living in the internet. Other guests mentioned the use of Blank Space themed napkins and the couple reading their own vows from little books.

The wedding concludes a high-profile romance that began in 2023. The couple, both 36, became a pop culture phenomenon after Kelce attempted to meet Swift during her Eras Tour and Swift subsequently attended Kansas City Chiefs games. They announced their engagement in 2025. Ahead of the wedding, Variety reported that the couple donated $26 million to more than 20 charities.

Fans who gathered outside the arena participated in a massive singalong of Love Story as they waited for news. Although there was no livestream of the ceremony, signage at the venue indicated that photography and videography were taking place, leading to speculation that the couple may release professionally filmed footage at a later date.
