Foreo Expands Beauty Tech Portfolio With LED Devices and Wellness Supplements

Swedish beauty tech company Foreo is expanding its market reach by launching new LED devices at divergent price points and entering the wellness sector with a comprehensive supplement. The brand, founded in Stockholm in 2013, is moving beyond its origins in electronic cleansers to build what it describes as a connected beauty and wellness ecosystem.

The company is introducing two new LED products on the same day to target different consumer segments. The Foreo UFO LED Lighthouse Panel, priced at $59, is a handheld compact device featuring Frensel lenses that concentrate 32 LEDs into a stream of light reaching up to 2 meters. This device is available exclusively at 1,500 CVS stores nationwide.

At the luxury end of the market, Foreo is debuting the Foreo FAQ LED Panel for $499. Initially available on the company's own website before expanding to other retailers, this panel uses powerful light diodes and patented diamond-shaped lenses to amplify and disperse light across multiple angles, which the company says ensures deeper skin penetration.

Filip Sedić, founder and chief executive officer of Foreo, stated that beauty consumers no longer view wellness in silos and seek solutions that fit their specific lifestyles.

"Our strategy has evolved to meet those expectations by building a portfolio of brands that serve different consumers, different price points and different retail environments, while remaining rooted in innovation."

Parallel to these hardware launches, Foreo has entered the supplements market with FAQ Pure, a beauty-tech elixir. The drink is a daily powder designed to replace multiple separate supplements with a single formula containing 85 ingredients, including vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, prebiotics, probiotics, enzymes, botanicals, and adaptogens.

According to the brand, the supplement supports immunity, blood sugar levels, hydration, digestion, brain health, muscle function, hormonal balance, metabolism, and energy, while promoting cellular longevity and supporting healthy hair, nails, and skin. The formula includes specific components such as NAD+, CoQ10, quercetin, creatine, magnesium, digestive enzymes, super mushrooms, and proprietary ingredients Qfer and QvitK2.

The FAQ Pure elixir is vegan, gluten-free, keto-friendly, allergen-free, and contains no added sugar. It is available in Natural and Forest Berries variants, sold as a 30-day supply in either ziplock pouches or single-serve sachets. The product was available starting 26 February.

Sedić noted that while the company has addressed the external signs of aging through clinical-grade devices, the goal is now to create a complete ecosystem for youth.

These new additions join a broader catalog of specialized technologies. Foreo's current ecosystem includes the Luna line of sonic cleansers, which uses T-Sonic pulsations and medical-grade silicone to remove dirt and sebum. The current Luna 4 Plus model offers 16 pulsation intensities and app connectivity.

The company also offers the Bear line for facial toning, which uses microcurrents to stimulate ATP production in facial muscles. This includes the Bear 2, which features an Anti-Shock System to adjust current based on skin resistance. Additionally, the FAQ 202 is a full-face LED mask using four wavelengths — red, blue, orange, and near-infrared — for collagen stimulation, acne care, and radiance. For hair removal, the Peach 2 uses Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) and includes a cooling system for users with Fitzpatrick skin tones I-V.

Foreo's growth mirrors a wider industry shift toward augmented skincare. While the company's devices are positioned at a premium price point, with a full set of four primary devices exceeding $1,100, the brand has established a presence in more than 80 countries by focusing on portability, hygiene, and battery life.

The company's recent move into supplements represents a strategic shift from simply launching individual products to providing integrated wellness experiences. This expansion follows years of development for the FAQ Pure formula, which the brand claims was developed over five years with an engineering-led approach.
