More than 100,000 music fans are expected to visit the Fylde coast for the 15th anniversary of Lytham Festival. The annual five-day open-air event, which has grown from a single-day concert in 2010 into one of the largest music festivals in the North West, will take place from 1 July to 5 July 2026.

Organisers Daniel Cuffe and Peter Taylor have curated five nights of live music on Lytham Green. The lineup features 12 special guests and support artists alongside the headliners.

Daily Lineup

  • 1 July: Teddy Swims headlines, supported by multi-instrumentalist Jordan Rakei and songwriter Lauren Spencer Smith.
  • 2 July: Seven-time Grammy Award winner Alanis Morissette performs with support from the indie-pop band Pale Waves, Mercury-nominated The Big Moon, and British rock legends Skunk Anansie.
  • 3 July: Michael Bublé is joined by pop duo Appleton, singer-songwriter Ronan Keating, and a warm-up set from BBC Radio Lancashire presenter Graham Liver.
  • 4 July: Pet Shop Boys perform their DREAMWORLD – The Greatest Hits Live show. This serves as a local appearance for member Chris Lowe, who is originally from Blackpool. They are supported by Radio 1 DJ Dave Pearce and glam-pop band Scissor Sisters.
  • 5 July: Pitbull closes the event, becoming the first rap star to headline the festival. He will be accompanied by his band, The Agents, and dancers, The Most Bad Ones, with special guest rapper and producer Lil Jon and opening act DJ Laz.

Ticketing and Access

General admission day tickets start at £86.80 for Thursday, £95.20 for Wednesday and Friday, £98.00 for Saturday, and £115.50 for Sunday. For a more premium experience, 5-day VIP Garden passes start at £749, offering private bars, premium food, flushable toilets, and a dedicated viewing area in front of the stage.

The festival is family-friendly with no minimum age for entry. Children aged two and under enter for free, while those aged 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult with a ticket. However, prams and pushchairs are not permitted.

Travel and Logistics

Because the event is a non-camping festival, attendees must arrange off-site accommodation. Local options include the Bedford Hotel and the Clifton Arms Hotel, though organizers note these often book up quickly.

Transport options include:

  • Rail: Lytham railway station is a five-minute walk from the site. Northern is increasing capacity, including an additional late-night service on Sunday, 5 July 2026.
  • Bus and Coach: Shuttle buses run between Lytham and both Preston and Blackpool. The "big green coach" provides return travel from cities including Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, Chester, and Wigan. Blackpool Transport services 11, 11A, and 11B also provide direct access from Blackpool Town Centre.
  • Parking: Official parking opens at 15:00 daily and should be booked in advance. A park-and-ride service operates from South Promenade Green.
  • Drop-off: The official zone is at Lowther Gardens, West Beach, while taxis are designated at Lowther Pavilion.

Festival Rules and Safety

Security measures require that all bags be smaller than a piece of A4 paper and are subject to search. Prohibited items include chairs, umbrellas, glass, alcohol, perfume, aftershave, and large recording equipment. Each attendee may bring one empty reusable water bottle and one sealed water bottle with a maximum capacity of 500ml.

The site is card- or contactless-only for all purchases. General Admission, The Garden, and Accessible gates open at 17:00 daily. Entertainment typically ends by 23:00, except for Sunday, which concludes at 22:30.

For accessibility, British Sign Language interpreters will be present at every concert. The festival also utilizes the Nimbus Access Card scheme for those requiring dedicated viewing areas or parking.

Attendees are encouraged to download the official Lytham Festival app for maps and set times, which will be released the week before the event.
