Microsoft has detailed a slate of more than 20 games arriving for Xbox platforms between July 6 and July 10, 2026. The lineup includes major sports and action titles arriving across Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Xbox on PC, and Game Pass.
A primary highlight of the upcoming window is EA SPORTS College Football 27, scheduled for release on July 9. The title, optimized for Xbox Series X|S, introduces a "Dynasty Blueprint" for team engineering and deeper customization via "Road to Glory." The game also features a "Mascot Mashup" mode. While the standard release is July 9, players who purchase the Deluxe edition will receive early access starting July 6.
Other major releases arriving mid-week include Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced on July 9. Optimized for Xbox Series X|S, the game features Edward Kenway and the Jackdaw, allowing players to utilize swords, pistols, and the Hidden Blade to combat Templars alongside historical pirate legends.
For subscribers of Game Pass, two significant titles are launching. Winds of Arcana: Ruination arrives July 6 as a fully-voiced, 2.5D action-platformer where players help a character named Aryn. Later, on July 10, the open-world action RPG Wuthering Waves launches. In that title, players take the role of a "Rover" joined by "Resonators" to recover lost memories.
Diverse Indie and Genre Offerings
The upcoming week features a wide array of smaller titles and niche genres:
- Mining and Survival: Wall World 2 launches July 6, featuring procedurally generated mines and upgrades for robospiders and exosuits. Another untitled multiplayer open-world survival game allows players to breed, fight, or utilize "Pals" for labor in farms and factories.
- Puzzles and Platformers: Sokocat: Castaway, a 3D puzzle adventure, arrives July 8. Frogging Up: Frog Climb Rage Game, a physics platformer about a frog in a raincoat, also launches July 8. A library-themed puzzle game featuring 30 levels across two environments will also be available.
- Narrative and Horror: The Fissure, a visual novel about the mysteries of San Adraín and a character named Nahuel, debuts July 8. Horror enthusiasts can explore Echoes from Umbra on July 10, where players use a flashlight and a book of clues to escape a cursed village, or a first-person indie horror experience set in Kowloon.
- Action and Strategy: Quest Arrest arrives July 10, following Detective Allison Bennett in the city of Strange Meadows. Tower Dominion, a strategy game involving building combinations and enemy waves, also launches July 10.
Bundles and Arcade Collections
On July 7, One Button Games 5-in-1 vol. 7 will launch, containing five distinct titles: Up Shot, Smily Angry, V Bomb, Pin Climb, and Number Line.
The KEMCO RPG Selection Vol. 10 bundle arrives July 9, offering four separate RPGs: Infinite Links, Overrogue, Fairy Elements, and Dragon Prana.
Additional titles arriving include RED TITANS, a vertical shoot 'em up; a Viking settlement survival game; Black Spades, a card game featuring Jokers and Deuces; Cuboy Adventure, a platformer with boss battles; and Damways, a strategy game featuring a beaver on a lake.
